Blurb:
his presence shan’t lessen.

If you break the curse,
you become the legend.

Washington Irving and Rip Van Winkle had no choice but to cover up the deadly truth behind Ichabod Crane’s disappearance. Centuries later, a Crane returns to Sleepy Hollow awakening macabre secrets once believed to be buried deep.

What if the monster that spawned the legend lived within you?

Now, Ireland Crane, reeling from a break-up and seeking a fresh start, must rely on the newly awakened Rip Van Winkle to discover the key to channeling the darkness swirling within her. Bodies are piling high and Ireland is the only one that can save Sleepy Hollow by embracing her own damning curse.

But is anyone truly safe when the Horseman rides?

This is the first book I have read by this author and wow she is just amazing! I am not a big fan of horror but this book literally had me at the edge of my seat and wanting more. The twist on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was epic. I loved the characters especially Noah although we didn't get much of him I would have liked to seen more of his character. If I had to pick a fave it def would be Rip he was very unique in his own way. I loved that we were able to go back and hear from Ichabod and Katrina. This book had a lot of humor in it as well I really laughed so heard in spots. Def loved and recommend to all and can't wait to read the second book in this series.
