A sequel to the Amazon bestselling romance, Preservation, told from Ryan’s point of view.
Old Habits Die Hard.
Ryan Campbell is not only leaving his title of Professor behind to move on to bigger and better things at Simon and Warden Publishing, he’s also become Seattle’s rising literary star. Sitting on the overwhelming cusp of newfound fame, he learns soon enough that being popular has its downside.
Attracted to the buzz surrounding his new career, former lovers begin to creep back into his life, and potential ones emerge with enticing advances. While he works to juggle reserved, yet stressful, wedding plans with Kate and his new public image, he has enough to manage without worrying about Carter and Dean—Kate’s loveable albeit eccentric friends—and their latest shenanigans.
Surrounded by a lifestyle that includes temptation at every turn, Ryan finds himself immersed in a world full of scandal and lies, where his oldest weaknesses thrive and his ghosts return to haunt him. Questioning whether his life with Kate is his best path, he must discover if he’s still capable of being the man he aspired to be when she first became his, or if happily ever after is only an illusion.
INTENSE!!!!
Rachael Wade never fails to keep her readers captivated by her story lines. I love the detail she gives in each and everyone of her books, its as if the story is playing out in front of you, so vividly.
I cried a lot through this Reservation, there was a lot of heart ache, it was so nice to see Ryan's POV. You don't get a man's POV in stories very often but it was just EPIC!! I really felt for most of the characters in the story especially, Ryan, Carter and Kate. I wanted to reach through my kindle and strangle Danny and Will, I hated them so much LOL.
In Reservation we get to see many sides of Ryan we dont get to see in Preservation. We got to see him angry, hurt, scared and mostly in love with the one he wants more than anything no matter the cost.
With Ryan's book going big, he has paparazzi following him every where, digging up his past and the one thing that pisses him off the most is attacking Kate. With everything going on is worse fear is losing Kate because of all this madness.
As they are planning their future, people from Ryan's past are showing up, some good and some not so good. When one of his secrets come out he knows his relationship with Kate is at stake.
As always Rachael never disappoints, her work is amazing. I cant wait to read Declaration, I just know it will be just as amazing as the rest of her work if not more so.
